About the role

The Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit Charge Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care for patients with acute and intermediate cardiac conditions, including heart failure management and post-transplant care.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of individualized care plans
• Assess patient data to anticipate changes
• Facilitate effective communication within the interdisciplinary team
• Promote evidence-based practices
• Support practice improvements
• Evaluate patient and family experiences to enhance care quality and satisfaction

Qualifications

• RN license
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Additional training: ECG, invasive monitoring, LVAD, ACLS, acute care
