Spiritual Services

• Assess and attend to the spiritual needs of patients, their families, and employees.
• Provide spiritual care during times of spiritual distress, including life-threatening or life-altering medical diagnoses and procedures.
• Offer support during transitions such as death and dying, including decedent care.
• Resolve bio-ethical concerns as requested.
• Offer spiritual counseling and support through group work, religious services, hospital celebrations, and other methods.
• Represent the medical center to the broader religious community and surrounding areas.

Reporting Structure

The Student Chaplain reports to the ACPE Educator.
