Chaplain (H)

About the role

The Chaplain role provides and coordinates all spiritual care services by providing spiritual care assessment and spiritual/emotional care interventions and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level Degree in Theology, or a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Divinity preferred
• 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) may be required, 4 units of CPE preferred
• Currently licensed and/or ordained within a recognized faith community required
• Board Certification by the APC, NACC, NAJC, CAPPE, or SCA preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Relevant experience in the provision of professional ministry or chaplaincy required
• Experience working with patients/families dealing with life-threatening illness and death required

Pay

The pay range for this position is $27.27 to $36.88 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
