Responsibilities
- Drive new business to Shift4 through prospecting and signing of new partners.
- Devise and implement strategies for meeting sales performance targets and optimizing growth with each new partner.
- Actively prospect, attend trade shows, conferences, on-site meetings/visits, and hunt for new strategic partnerships.
- Create, negotiate, and close commercial agreements with new partners.
- Provide partners with a full understanding of Shift4 Schedule A, bonus opportunities, and EMV devices.
- Collaborate with the API/Integrations team to assist new partners through integration and certification to Shift4.
- Prepare and execute a structured, planned agenda/meeting curriculum when presenting to partners via phone or on-site.
- Train new/existing partners on Shift4 products, services, and the sales process, including residual reporting, lead management, and submitting new leads.
- Ensure all documents, training, paperwork, and other items are processed to complete the on-boarding process.
- Identify marketing opportunities through conversations with partners and implement those plans.
- Update and keep accurate records in Salesforce on the partner merchant base, integration type, interface, hardware supported, and products.
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, customer care, product development, and technology operations.
- Oversee the launch of new partners' first two merchants from start to finish once they have boarded five merchants successfully with Shift4.
- Schedule and conduct regular meetings with respective CSMs on sales KPIs (growth, lead count conversion rates), and involve them in correspondence with ISVs/dealers.
- Continuously work towards achieving sales and revenue targets set by the AVP and SVP of Channel.
- Provide directives and feedback to CSMs and marketing teams on the success of sales.
- Timely address any service issues escalated to you by CSMs and/or channel members.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience working in Channel Sales within the POS and Payments space.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Salesforce and Monday.com preferred.
