Channel Manager, HTAS- Advanced Planning
Accountabilities
The Channel Manager, HTAS- Advanced Planning will oversee channel marketing strategies, business planning activities, and commercial initiatives to maximize sales growth, profitability, and customer engagement.
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives, including product strategies, promotional programs, pricing initiatives, and merchandising plans.
Own channel-level planning activities with a focus on profitability, revenue growth, and market expansion.
Partner with commercial, product, brand, supply chain, and finance teams to develop and execute growth initiatives.
Lead planning and execution of new product launches, including marketing communication strategies and channel readiness activities.
Analyze point-of-sale performance, inventory levels, market share, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness and adjust strategies to improve business outcomes.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize product listings, pricing actions, promotional opportunities, and revenue performance.
Use business and financial insights to support decisions that improve both revenue and profitability.
Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring deadlines and strategic objectives are achieved.
Build strong relationships across teams and communicate recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, customer experiences, and channel performance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical marketing professional with experience in retail, product management, or commercial operations and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
4+ years of experience in product management, sales, marketing, channel management, or related roles within a retail environment.
Demonstrated success driving sales growth, improving margins, and managing business performance.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting key business metrics such as sales performance, gross margin, operating margin, inventory turns, and profitability indicators.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to operational excellence.
Experience managing projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering initiatives from concept through execution.
Strong negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across an organization.
Ability to navigate complex organizations, manage changing priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present strategies and recommendations clearly.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business systems such as ERP, SAP, BW, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
Ability to work independently, prioritize high-impact activities, and succeed in a dynamic business environment.
