Changeover Crew| Part-Time | Cable Dahmer Arena

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to convert and prepare the arena for events.
• Installing/removing ice covering, staging, risers, and basketball courts.
• Handling folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery, and skirting.
• Aiding in pre/post event cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, and carpet cleaning.
• Maintaining effective relationships with other departments, clients, and patrons.
• Producing accurate results under pressure and strict schedules, especially during overnight shifts.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience is desired but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects frequently.
• Knowledge of staging and production equipment is helpful.
• Flexible availability to work daytime, evening, and overnight shifts, with mostly overnights.
• Wearing safety footwear is mandatory.

Pay

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$20.00.

Schedule

The position will remain open until August 21, 2026.

Cable Dahmer Arena is a 5,800-seat arena located in Independence, Missouri. Additionally, OVG operates Independence Community Ice in conjunction with the Arena.
