Responsibilities
- Cook up and track software and system network-related issue tickets throughout the development process.
- Review incoming tickets for completeness, consistency, and required technical information.
- Based on high-level analysis, assign each ticket to the best member of the global engineering team to lead the needed change estimation or problem investigation.
- Support standardization of issue reporting and tracking processes.
- Follow up with engineering teams and stakeholders regarding ticket status and resolution progress.
- Support communication and alignment with customers regarding reported issues and status updates.
- Monitor issue aging, priorities, and closure progress.
- Generate reports and metrics including issue inflow, burndown, and status tracking.
- Support project meetings with issue tracking summaries and status updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation in tools such as Jira.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Experience in automotive, embedded systems, software testing, or development environments preferred.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and priorities.
- Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented working style.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting system or software testing activities.
- Familiarity with defect tracking workflows and reporting metrics.
- Strong customer technical interface and negotiating skills.
- Experience in embedded software development is a plus.
- Exposure to automotive development processes is a plus.
- Travel ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed (~10%).
