Chair Refurbish Team Lead
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Chair Refurbish Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the chair refurbishment program while maintaining accurate inventory control through the Manhattan SCALE Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Essential Functions
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Manhattan SCALE WMS within the chair refurbishment operation.
Receive and process inventory transactions accurately within the WMS.
Perform SKU swaps and inventory conversions as required.
Execute inventory adjustments and maintain accurate inventory records.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts.
Maintain ownership and accountability for spare parts inventory.
Perform and document weekly cycle counts for financial accuracy.
Reconcile physical counts with system inventory and investigate variances.
Track parts consumption used during refurbishment.
Partner with Finance and Inventory Control on inventory valuation and cost reporting.
Perform advanced refurbishment and repair activities on chair products across all business lines.
Diagnose product defects and determine repair methods.
Ensure refurbished products meet quality standards.
Train and mentor team members on refurbishment techniques and best practices.
Lead, coach, and supervise two Chair Repair Technicians.
Assign daily work and prioritize activities.
Monitor performance against established KPIs.
Ensure team members meet quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of warehouse, inventory control, refurbishment, manufacturing, or related experience.
Experience with WMS systems, preferably Manhattan SCALE.
Strong inventory management and leadership skills.
