ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets all customers and provides prompt, courteous service.
- Assists associates to help resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Fulfills company policy to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Works cooperatively with applicable departments, including Store Management team, Department Managers, and Night Crew.
- Maintains integrity of the CGO system throughout the store.
- Balances on-hand issues and resolves them.
- Utilizes required applications and current technology related to CGO operations.
- Ensures accuracy, completeness, and retention of all reports and records in accordance with company policy.
- Creates daily pick lists for all departments.
- Performs daily out-of-stock counts and investigates reasons.
- Investigates overstock items and resolves issues related to forecasting or miss-picks.
- Creates secondary display settings as directed by Store Manager.
- Identifies and resolves planogram integrity issues by communicating with other departments.
- Affixes out-of-stock merchandise signs to comply with company standards.
- Identifies and corrects inaccuracies in balance on-hand.
- Maintains “Blue Chip” program for secondary product locations.
- Collaborates with Regional CGO analyst to resolve issues and concerns regarding out-of-stock conditions.
- Maintains general sanitation in the department, adhering to cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
- Disposes of trash properly.
- Performs duties in accordance with all company policies and programs, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Utilizes all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- May assist in other departments as required.
Qualification Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (GED).
- No prior experience required, but two (2) years or more retail grocery experience is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate for this position starts at $15.00 and can go up to $22.00. Weis Markets offers a competitive salary with various benefits and resources, including:
