Job Overview

Search Solution Group is seeking a remote Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead all finance and accounting functions, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, audit, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and business performance metrics to executive leadership and investors.
  • Oversee cash flow management, capital planning, and liquidity strategies.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and identify opportunities to improve profitability and business performance.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements, accounting standards, and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic transactions as needed.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting, and business processes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA, Master's degree, or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive-level finance roles. Previous experience serving as a CFO or senior finance executive. Required experience working within a private equity-backed organization. Experience leading financial strategy for high-growth or transformational businesses. Experience managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, and capital planning. Experience presenting financial performance to executive leadership, boards of directors, and investors. Experience leading finance teams and developing organizational talent.

  • Knowledge of financial technology and ERP systems.

About the Role

This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operational performance. The CFO will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing strategic financial guidance while driving growth, optimizing performance, and ensuring sound financial management. The ideal candidate will have significant private equity-backed company experience and a proven track record of leading finance organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and value creation. This is a remote position with regular travel as needed.
