CFO

Scope and Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of monthly P&L statements
• Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll (using Paychex)
• Manage a team of 5+ accounting staff
• Oversee the production of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze revenue and expense variances
• Reconcile Sage Intelligence to MAS financials
• Process monthly accruals for different divisions
• Reconcile accruals to cash accounting statements
• Post accrued revenue and expenses to the general ledger
• Generate and maintain P&L’s for additional business units and department level P&L’s
• Oversee payroll and billing for separate divisions
• Represent the firm on a board overseeing three Mutual Funds and three ETFs
• Oversee external financial audits and tax work on a timely basis
• Oversee an office manager as a direct report
• Include managing phone systems, supplies, reception, and mail

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a CPA is preferred
• 10+ years of progressive and upwardly mobile accounting roles
• Leadership roles in previous organizations
• Experience in asset management or finance is a plus

Pay & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $225,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.
