Scope and Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of monthly P&L statements
- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll (using Paychex)
- Manage a team of 5+ accounting staff
- Oversee the production of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze revenue and expense variances
- Reconcile Sage Intelligence to MAS financials
- Process monthly accruals for different divisions
- Reconcile accruals to cash accounting statements
- Post accrued revenue and expenses to the general ledger
- Generate and maintain P&L’s for additional business units and department level P&L’s
- Oversee payroll and billing for separate divisions
- Represent the firm on a board overseeing three Mutual Funds and three ETFs
- Oversee external financial audits and tax work on a timely basis
- Oversee an office manager as a direct report
- Include managing phone systems, supplies, reception, and mail
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a CPA is preferred
- 10+ years of progressive and upwardly mobile accounting roles
- Leadership roles in previous organizations
- Experience in asset management or finance is a plus
Pay & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $225,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.
