Certified Ultrasound Technologist

About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases. Executes assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Applies thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans according to established protocols.
• Completes documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
• Achieves assigned goals effectively.

Requirements

• Recent Sonography experience preferred.
• Must be registered with ARDMS and/or RVT or be a new graduate awaiting certification, with proof of registry within 120 days.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Basic computer literacy skills required; advanced skills preferred.
• Licensure as required, including obtaining necessary registry and certifications within specified timeframes.
