About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments to assist in diagnosing and treating diseases, adhering to radiology practice standards.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
  • Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintains documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
  • Ensures equipment, rooms, and work areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained to protect patients and staff.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
  • Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Requirements

  • Registered by ARDMS and/or RVT, or a recent graduate awaiting registry certification; proof of registry required within 120 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Recent sonography experience preferred.
