About the role
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing anesthesia services under medical supervision.
Responsibilities
- Administer general and regional anesthesia for various surgical, obstetrical, and medical procedures across all age groups.
- Evaluate patients pre-operatively, select appropriate anesthetic approaches, and monitor intraoperative and postoperative conditions.
- Manage airway, fluid balance, homeostasis, and respond to emergencies including airway issues and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Prepare and check anesthesia equipment, administer drugs, and maintain accurate documentation and controlled substances.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, communicate patient concerns, and supervise student nurse anesthetists.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards (e.g., TJC, Title 22), and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Establish professional and courteous relationships with patients, staff, and the public.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Valid RN license and CRNA certification in the applicable jurisdiction.
- National Provider Identifier, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
- Experience with anesthesia for major procedures involving extensive monitoring and patient management across age groups.
- Proficiency in clinical techniques, equipment, documentation, and staff education.

- Demonstrated technical, clinical, and professional skills aligned with state practice regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional relevant skills and experience beyond minimum requirements, especially in complex procedures and staff development.
