Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Per Diem

About the Role

Under medical supervision, administers general and regional anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures across all age groups, including neonatal to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Airway management, fluid balance, monitoring, emergency response, and ventilator management
• Evaluating patients pre- and post-operatively
• Collaborating with anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Checking and preparing anesthesia equipment and drugs
• Monitoring intraoperative patient stability
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with policies and safety standards
• Precepting student nurse anesthetists
• Maintaining supplies and equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California)
• National Provider Identifier and Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications
• Experience with extensive monitoring and fluid management across age groups

Skills

• Strong technical, clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and staff education

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent obstetric anesthesia experience, including labor epidurals
