Certified Peer Support Worker - MAT (78-70)
Job Summary
Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.

TRAUMA-INFORMED: Utilize a strengths-based framework that emphasizes physical, psychological, and emotional safety and creates opportunities for survivors to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.

Job Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Eligible for or currently certified as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico (at least 18 years of age, have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrable mental wellness and or substance use recovery, and have been a current or former consumer of mental health and/or substance use support services).
Must maintain a clean driving record.
Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
