About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide peer support services to clients in a variety of settings including residential treatment, outpatient clinics, and community-based programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized recovery plans.
- Facilitate group sessions and workshops designed to promote recovery, coping skills, and social integration.
- Assist in the development and implementation of recovery-oriented policies and practices within the organization.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a recovery-focused environment.
- Experience in peer support roles or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Completion of a certified peer recovery specialist training program.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction and mental health recovery.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
