About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to clients in a variety of settings including residential treatment, outpatient clinics, and community-based programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized recovery plans.
• Facilitate group sessions and workshops designed to promote recovery, coping skills, and social integration.
• Assist in the development and implementation of recovery-oriented policies and practices within the organization.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a recovery-focused environment.
• Experience in peer support roles or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified peer recovery specialist training program.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction and mental health recovery.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
