About the role
Join our team as a Certified Peer Recovery Coach to support young adults in their recovery journeys.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a full-time Certified Peer Recovery Coach to join our Youth Recovery Housing Program serving young adults ages 18-24. This is a third shift position with a flexible start time between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., working an 8.5-hour shift (including a 30-minute unpaid meal period).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals in a Substance Use Disorder (SUD), Behavioral Health, or related human services setting
- Current Certified Peer Recovery Mentor (CPRM) or Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) certification through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) or the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS)
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan Driver's License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including a criminal background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Previous experience with data entry and client scheduling
- Experience working with transition-aged youth (ages 18-24)
Compensation
This grant-funded position offers an hourly wage of $20.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other non-discriminatory factors.
