About the role

This is a part-time, temporary position, not eligible for benefits, located at Advising Services, 1819 N Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas, 78212.

Assists Student Success staff in a variety of student services areas, provides assistance and encouragement to all students, and refers students to appropriate college service area when necessary.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at one of the ACD colleges or another accredited institution of higher education after attending or graduating from an ACD college.

• Must complete badges related to this position as determined by the Alamo Colleges.
• Must complete Peer Advisor Certification training, as assigned, within the first year of employment.
• Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen.

Requirements

• Minimum of 19 hours per week.
• Hourly position.
• Funding source: Hard Money.
• Number of openings: 4.
