Pay

Pay Range: $40.00-$45.00/hour

$3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time COTAs.

About the Role

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) performs patient-related activities to maximize independence and maintain health for individuals limited by physical injury, illness, cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disabilities, or adverse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the occupational therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures
• Observe, record, and report patient condition, reactions, and responses to the therapist
• Assist the therapist in consulting with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain care of the occupational therapy department and equipment
• Assist with in-service programs and other assigned meetings

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal skills
