Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

About the role

Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a full time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to clients with various disabilities.
• Work with severely disabled populations, particularly those with traumatic brain injuries.
• Experience with day treatment and/or residential programs for individuals with traumatic brain injuries is preferred.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant school.
• Hold a current, valid Certificate of Registration as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant or be eligible for such registration at the time of appointment and thereafter.
• Be licensed by the State of Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy or be eligible for licensure through the State Licensure procedure.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with severely disabled populations.
• Prior experience working in day treatment and/or residential programs for individuals with traumatic brain injuries is a plus.
