Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions according to individual needs
- Participate in staff meetings and conferences to review progress
- Provide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to occupational therapy and maintain open communication with parents
- Accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes
- Maintain current daily notes
- Aid in IEP development
- Aid in providing a safe environment for all patients and staff
- Perform duties at multiple locations, as needed (Phoenix West & Phoenix Central)
Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensed certified occupational therapist and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association and licensed in applicable state
- Possess or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a CPR certification
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
