Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the role
Provides COTA services in accordance with all applicable guidelines, regulations, and Olympic Medical Center standards. Implements the established plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist by providing therapeutic interventions, obtaining data related to treatment provided, and reporting changes in patient status. Confers with supervising occupational therapist and makes recommendations for alteration of the care plan.
Requirements
- Associate degree from accredited COTA program
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Washington
- Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Qualifications
- One year of experience in multi-disciplinary setting or hospital, preferred
- One year of outpatient, hand and splinting experience, preferred
Pay
Pay Range: $29.99 - $44.27 per hour
- Evening shift differential: $3.00/hour
- Night shift differential: $5.00/hour
- Weekend shift differential: $4.50/hour
- Pharmacy Night shift differential: $8.50/hour
- Standby premium: $4.00/hour
- Lead premium: $3.25/hour
- Per Diem premium: 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification premium: $2.00/hour
- Trainer premium: $2.00/hour
- Student Coordinator premium: $2.00/hour, $3.25/hour for 2+ students
Schedule
Full-time, 80% (0.8 FTE) during days
- No on-call shifts
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
