Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

About the role

The Rehab Department at The Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides skilled therapy services consistent with professional standards and policies. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support patient care in a Five Star, Joint Commission-accredited facility offering short-term rehab, long-term, and skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Follow the therapy plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist, including goals and discharge planning.
• Complete all documentation required in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Submit billing on the date of the provided treatment.
• Document observations and patient’s response to treatment.
• Communicate and coordinate patient care with the team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
• Must be in compliance with the Department of Health's COVID-19 Up-to-Date Vaccination Guidance.

Pay

$3.00 weekend shift differential per hour.
