Responsibilities

• Assist the occupational therapist when performing tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures
• Observe, record, and report to the therapist the condition, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties
• Assist the therapist in consulting with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate
• Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment
• Assist the occupational therapist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal skills
