About the role
Edenbrook Sheboygan, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is offering a $500 sign-on bonus for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations.
Responsibilities
- Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
- Provide treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Instruct families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Communicate with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
- Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
