About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation occupational therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist within a dynamic team. Your responsibilities include assisting in the treatment of patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists. You will ensure that every patient receives quality treatment leading to excellent functional outcomes. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Additionally, you will assist patients through all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques. You will also communicate regularly with Occupational Therapists, Directors of Rehabilitation, and facility staff regarding treatment progress and patient conditions.
Responsibilities

- Ensure quality treatment leading to excellent functional outcomes for patients
- Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to each patient’s needs
- Aid patients through all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques
- Communicate regularly with Occupational Therapists, Directors of Rehabilitation, and facility staff regarding treatment progress and patient conditions
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of [State]. You must have completed an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and possess a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
