About the role
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsible for delivering person-centered care to seniors, ensuring dignity and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as hygiene, bathing, dressing, transfers, and dining support
- Perform housekeeping tasks including bed making, laundry, and cleaning
- Lead and support life enrichment activities and encourage participation
- Escort residents to programs and outings
- Record vital signs and weights as needed
- Participate in training and education
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- State CNA certification
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
- Preferably two years of healthcare experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and pushing up to 250 lbs
- Key attributes: compassionate, team-oriented, able to work long hours including nights and weekends, comfortable using electronic records and office equipment
