About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, transferring, and dining support
- Supporting housekeeping tasks like laundry and room cleaning
- Leading and participating in life enrichment activities and outings
- Recording vital signs and weights
- Attending training sessions
Qualifications
- State CNA certification
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
- Preferred two years of healthcare experience
Skills and abilities
- Fluent in English
- Capable of working independently
- Proficient with electronic records and office equipment
- Able to follow instructions effectively
Physical demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push up to 250 lbs.
- Requires proper body mechanics
Work environment
- Active role involving long hours, with occasional night and weekend shifts
- Travel may be required for training or education
