What You'll Do
- Assisting with meals, snacks, and hydration
- Transporting residents throughout the facility
- Answering call bells and assisting residents as needed
- Helping maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms
- Supporting resident activities and engagement
- Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Providing compassionate care while learning valuable CNA skills
Qualifications
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Meet program and employment eligibility requirements
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to quality care
Physical Requirements
- Requires movement throughout entire unit
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend, lift, and transport equipment
- Must be able to lift and turn and residents
- Requires ability to utilize computerized medical record system for the purposes of medical record documentation
Pay
Starting Pay: $16.00/hour
