The Dalles, Oregon-based Adventist Health Columbia Gorge provides comprehensive healthcare services including a 49-bed hospital, medical offices, home health, a birthing center, and various services across the Columbia River Gorge region. Responsibilities
- Provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of an RN.
- Assists with activities of daily living such as self-care needs, nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints, and restorative care.
- Takes vital signs including pulse and blood pressure.
- Helps patients with their basic needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties, including routing patient reports as appropriate.
- Uses organizational and prioritization skills to maintain a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
- Assesses patients' status and reports concerns to the RN.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy.
Qualifications

Pay
The estimated base pay range for this position is $19.14 to $28.69 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
