Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem, Night Shift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. CNAs play a vital role in offering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
