About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Requirements

• Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

• Full-time CNAs with 0-1 years of experience eligible for up to $2,500.
• Full-time CNAs with 1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000.
• Candidates hired into a Full or Part-time CNA position.
• Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Schedule

• Med Surg 3 (MS3) operates on a 3-shift schedule with 12-hour shifts.
• Shifts are from 6:45A - 7:15P every third weekend.
