Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Weekend Shift | Emergency Department

Weekend overnight shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 16 hours per week.

You will assist with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes full access to patient health information and may include access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unit and patient care needs under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Access and manage patient health information as required.
• Access medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) related to job duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required (current high school students may qualify through the CATS program for the NC CNA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
