Certified Nursing Assistant CNA (Weekend Shift)

About the role

Highland Care Center is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their long-term care unit at their skilled nursing facility. The facility is dedicated to providing high-quality services to residents and values its CNA team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) care for residents
• Report observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Answer patients' call lights and requests
• Absorb patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Prepare patients for transfers or discharge
• Comply with all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
• Observe patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
• Absorb in the provision of emergency care

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by Utah required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
