Certified Nursing Assistant CNA (Weekend Shift)

About the role

Spearfish Canyon Healthcare is growing and our team is looking to invest in Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) by providing opportunities to further your career with the tools and encouragement you need to succeed. This is a weekend-only position with 8-hour or 12-hour shifts available (6–2:30pm or 6–6:30pm), working every Saturday and Sunday. It is ideal for those seeking extra hours over the weekend while keeping weekdays open, or for earning additional income.

Responsibilities

• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents
• Observe changes in residents' condition
• Ensure a safe environment
• Maintain ongoing education
• Rely on knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to keep residents comfortable and safe

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of South Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate, OR
• Certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training course

Preferences

• Prior CNA experience is preferable, but the facility is willing to invest in the right candidate

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly pay rate: $30/hour (PRN program)
• Weekends only: every Saturday and Sunday
• Shift options: 8-hour (6:00am–2:30pm) or 12-hour (6:00am–6:30pm)
