About the role

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in our Medical Renal/Oncology Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients undergoing cancer treatment while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Have full access to patient health information.
• May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Schedule

6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (36 hours per week)
