About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position includes a sign‑on bonus and is benefits‑eligible. The CNA is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Maintain full access to patient health information as required.
• May access medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours per week)
