About the role

Eventide Prairie Commons Care Center in Grand Island is hiring a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The position involves assisting residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under established nursing care procedures and supervision.

Schedule

Scheduled hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (8 hours), including every other Saturday/Sunday and weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Assists with resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments and adjusts throughout the shift to meet changing resident, caregiver, and team needs, including responding to call lights.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment as directed, regardless of personal preference.
• Follows through on comprehensive care plans/service plans developed for each resident.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) at all times.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Pay

Competitive starting pay range of $18.00–$20.16 per hour for CNAs, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid based on employment status and shift worked.
