Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part-Time - Night- Eventide Prairie Commons

About the role

The CNA position at Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island is part-time, working 10p-6a (8 hours), with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Aids in senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments to meet frequently changing/overlapping needs, including responding to call lights when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations to ensure the protection of Protected Health Information (PHI).

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience as an aide or caregiver is preferred.
• An active CNA certification in the state of Nebraska is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver.
• Active CNA certification in the state of Nebraska.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
