Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time - Evenings - Eventide Prairie Commons

About the role

The scheduled hours for this position are from 2p-10p (8 Hours), with an every other Saturday and Sunday rotation. Tabitha is now Eventide. Learn more here: https://eventide.org/tabitha/.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing for the residents’ physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs.
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Affords assistance with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Fulfills department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.

Requirements

• At least age 18.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Compensation

Eventide offers a competitive starting pay range of $18.00-$20.16 per hour for CNA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
