Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long Term Care

About the role

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Nursing Assistant (NA) in a long-term care facility focused on providing quality, resident-centered care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and collecting non-invasive specimens.
• Supporting residents with transferring, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises.
• Providing psychosocial support and encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.
• Assisting with housekeeping, laundry, and creating a positive dining experience.
• Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Supporting procedures, maintaining infection control policies, and using PPE appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or enrollment in a training program to obtain certification.
• Ability to complete annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum 12 hours/year).
• Knowledge of infection prevention, safety procedures, and resident privacy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• For applicable roles, valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving duties.
