About the role

As a member of our team, your main goal is to help our residents be happy, safe, and healthy. It is active, meaningful work where you get to see the direct results of your kindness every single shift.

• Being a Hero in Daily Life: You will help residents with personal care, like getting dressed and eating, while allowing them to be as independent as possible.
• Creating Fun & Connection: You will take residents to community outings and help them enjoy hobbies, recreation, and time with friends.
• Being a Powerful Advocate: You will be the "voice" for our residents, making sure their needs are met and their goals are heard.
• Providing Expert Care: You will use your training to provide physical care, assist with medical needs, and keep everyone safe during challenging moments.
• Working as a Team: You will help keep living areas clean, attend team meetings to plan the best care, and help mentor new staff as they join the family.
• Professional Growth: You will learn new skills through specialized training and keep your CNA certification active with our support.

Requirements

• Current Wyoming Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate is required.
• Completion of internal Greenhouse (Shahbaz) training is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience Substitution: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Human Services Aide OR
• Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Healthcare)
• Experience: 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Human Services Aide
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CNA Certification at the time of hire
• Ability to complete Greenhouse (Shahbaz training) within six (6) months of hire.

Benefits

This position is eligible for a $2,000 Hiring Bonus.

• New state employees and temporary employees accepting a permanent position.
• Current state employees accepting a promotional opportunity — recruitment must have been open to the public.
• One year of service in the position must be completed. Failure to complete this requirement will require reimbursement of the bonus with the funds deducted from the final pay.
• Internal candidates will be required to remain in the position for a minimum of one (1) year from the promotion date.
• Employees will only be eligible for one (1) hiring bonus in a 12-month period.
