About the role

The Certified Nurse Midwife at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center provides comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive years, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and gynecological services.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a variety of settings.
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage patient education and counseling needs related to reproductive health.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialty in Nurse Midwifery.
• National certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
• Current New Jersey State license as a Nurse Midwife.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
