Certified Nurse Midwife

About the role

This CNM will join a thriving OB/GYN practice in Vermont, becoming an integral part of a dynamic collaborative care team. The provider team consists of four OB/GYN Physicians and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• First call for OB and Gyn patients, usually 24 hr shifts, one day a week and one weekend a month
• Facilitating approximately 300 births annually
• Supporting normal physiological changes across a reproductive lifespan

Requirements

• RN and CNM licensure per VT State Board of Nursing
• DEA number or ability to obtain upon hire
• Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• NRP Certification
• Preferably 2 years of CNM experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ultrasound assessment and interpretation
• Experience with GYN procedures including IUD/Nexplanon/I&Ds/Colposcopy
• Experience as 1st assist at c-sections
• Experience in both outpatient and hospital-based settings
• Familiarity with quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
