Certified Nurse Midwife

About the role

Kansas City Women's Clinic is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for their employed practice. The position will join a team of twelve OBGYNs and five CNMs.

Deliveries are conducted at OPRMC with backup support from OBGYNs. VBAC support is also provided.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain Kansas licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to women throughout their reproductive lifespan
• Perform routine gynecological exams and screenings
• Manage prenatal and postpartum care
• Assist with deliveries at OPRMC
• Support VBAC pregnancies
• Collaborate with OBGYNs for complex cases

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Active Kansas nursing license
• Experience in obstetric and gynecological care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Graduate from an approved midwifery program
• Pass the NCLEX-RN exam
