Responsibilities

  • Work with a preeminent team of midwives at a world-renowned hospital with a commitment to innovation!
  • Provide compassionate, expert, and personalized care to women delivering at Mayo Clinic’s flagship location in Rochester, Minnesota.
  • Expand access to services through in-person and telehealth visits.
  • Assist in the delivery of more than 2,400 babies each year.
  • Pursue your professional passions in areas such as midwifery education as a faculty member, quality improvement projects, and the pursuit of research with strong institutional support.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctoral prepared graduate of an ACME accredited nurse-midwifery school.
  • Current MN APN license and Board certified in midwivery from AMCB.
  • Body mobility, coordinated dexterity of hands, ears, and eyes; sensory acuity, and verbal ability are required.
  • BLS certification and NRP certification required.
  • Experience as a teacher or preceptor in an academic medical center, participation in quality improvement or research projects, and expertise in multidisciplinary team collaboration are desirable.

Pay

$103,334.40 - $155,020.32 / year (at a .9 FTE)

Schedule

Full Time

Hours/Pay Period: 72

Full scope CNM position. Outpatient clinic days consist of 8-hour shifts. Inpatient labor shifts are 12 hours, both days and nights. Postpartum shifts consist of 12 hour days.

Approximately 2-3 weekends per 12-week timespan, either 8- or 12-hour shifts, dependent on postpartum or labor role.
