About the role

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Faith Haven Senior Care are more than caregivers—they are friends and companions to our guests. You will build relationships with patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. CNAs play a key role in observing changes in mood and behavior, helping our clinical team identify potential medical issues. As a fundamental part of our nursing team, your contributions are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging continued well-being.
• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans, including bathing, skin care, mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• Assist with activities of daily living, providing preventative and supportive care.
• Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs (temperature, pulse, respiration), catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or patient condition to the nursing team.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive and healing environment.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program with current CNA certification from the State of Michigan.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
• Ability to work as a team player, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Pay

• Base wage: $21.50 - $24.20 per hour (new rates).
• Hero/Hazard pay: Additional $3.40 per hour.
• Shift premiums: +$1.50 per hour for 2nd shift; +$1.00 per hour for all weekend shifts.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends (1 weekend per pay period).
• Positions available: 1 full-time and 1 part-time role on 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
