About the role
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Faith Haven Senior Care are more than caregivers—they are friends and companions to our guests. You will build relationships with patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. CNAs play a key role in observing changes in mood and behavior, helping our clinical team identify potential medical issues. As a fundamental part of our nursing team, your contributions are highly valued.
Pay
Base wages: $21.50 - $24.20 per hour (new rates). Additional compensation includes:
- $3.40 per hour Hero/Hazard pay
- $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm)
- $1.00 per hour premium for all weekend shifts
- Yearly wage increases

Schedule
8-hour shifts with rotating weekends (1 weekend per pay period). This posting is for:
- 1 full-time (FT) 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm)
- 1 part-time (PT) 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm)
Responsibilities
- Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging continued well-being.
- Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans, including bathing, skin care, mouth care, shaving, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Monitor and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, temperature/pulse/respirations (TPRs), catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
- Observe and report significant changes in patient routine or condition to the nursing team.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in all interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive and healing environment.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program with current CNA certification from the State of Michigan.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care (EPIC).
