About the role

Our Nursing Assistants are more than just caregivers—they are friends and companions to our guests. They build relationships with our patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. Our CNAs are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that help our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. As a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans as a guide.
• Assist with bathing and all activities of daily living, including skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• Perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs (temperature, pulse, respiration), catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative, and recreational therapies by encouraging continued well-being.
• Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition to your nursing team.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive and healthy environment.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved nurse aide training program with current certification from the State of Michigan (CNA Certification required).
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Ability to work as a team player, dedicated to supporting your team members.

Pay

• Base wage: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour (based on years of certification).
• $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shift.
• $3.40 per hour Hero Pay, totaling up to $25.90 per hour on 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, including rotating weekends and some holidays.
• Part-time or full-time shifts available.
• Third shift positions available.
• No mandatory overtime (overtime after 8 hours).
